The Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone (Toutunhe district) plans to use a big data platform to remotely control fire.
The project is the result of a strategic cooperation framework agreement signed on June 21 between Toutunhe district and Xinjiang Li'an Fire Industry Group Co Ltd.
Zhang Changlin, deputy director of the administrative committee of Toutunhe district, and Yang Wanxin, chairman of Xinjiang Li'an Fire Industry Group, attended the signing ceremony.
Yang said that the fire-fighting system platform can connect fire alarm controllers distributed throughout various buildings to a network through network transmission devices.
By using data, video and other methods, the network will survey the fire safety situation in buildings and identify equipment failure in order to reduce the risk of fire.
Ma Chunlei, a member of the Toutunhe district CPC standing committee, said that Toutunhe will join hands with the company to strengthen fire safety management and increase the region's fire control and prevention capabilities.
Both sides will also cooperate on a smart fire emergency industrial park and push smart fire prevention to a new level, Ma added.
Xinjiang Li'an Fire-fighting Industry Group Co Ltd is a fire-fighting technology service company which engages in intelligent IoT cloud services and technology research and development.
